We are excited to announce Griffin Works’ partnership with Proper Job!

The wealth of practical building experience at Griffin Works has taught us that for many projects the origins of misunderstandings lie in the very first conversations. Homeowners need a realistic idea of cost to decide whether the project is realistic and make choices about the design and finish. Builders, however, are reluctant to commit to a figure until all the details are clear, in case significant changes impact their profits. We knew that a solution which worked for both parties was possible, and that solution is Proper Job.

Griffin Works has partnered with SR3H, a tech team based at Oxford Innovation to build Proper Job, a mobile and web app which helps builders create clear, realistic guide prices in minutes. These guide prices help customers massively in their decision making. As they can see what has been included and allowed for, and how their money would be spent.

The carefully designed technology behind Proper Job is rooted in the Griffin Works team’s extensive practical building experience and goes far beyond the generic cost-per-square-meter figure found online, using size, type, likely content, and even potential obstacles to accurately price individual projects. 

We are extremely proud to make Proper Job a reality, and to help builders and homeowners begin projects with aligned expectations, better information, and fewer misunderstandings.
